U.S. Customs and Border Protection has launched a new Trusted Traveler Programs website, where travelers can manage their Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI and FAST enrollment and membership details.
“This new Trusted Traveler Programs website reflects CBP’s continued focus on leveraging advanced technology and innovation,” CBP Acting Commissioner Kevin McAleenan said in a statement. “We remain committed to improving and modernizing the international arrivals process for the more than 300 million travelers who arrive at U.S. ports of entry each year.”
The improved, more user-friendly website has new functions and navigation capabilities, including mobile access and a streamlined interview appointment scheduling function.
Unfortunately, those who previously used the Global Online Enrollment System (GOES) website and has a trusted-traveler account now has to make a new login on the new site to manage their membership. To re-register, you will need your PASSID along with your personal information, after which the registration process will take 10 to 15 minutes out of your day.
All the data has migrated over to the new site, and you will need access to your trusted-traveler information to update new passport details or schedule an interview in case you were in the middle of the process as of Oct. 1.
Current information, such as submitted applications or membership details, has not been impacted. Incomplete applications without payments have not migrated, and you will need to fill out a new application if you wish to become a member of one of the trusted-traveler programs and expedite your international travel.
